What we repair
- Dark or offline cameras — power, PoE, cable, or camera-level failures
- NVR failures — hard drive issues, firmware, boot loops, recording gaps
- Remote viewing problems — app won't connect, DDNS issues, port and certificate fixes
- Intermittent cameras — PoE negotiation, cable shorts, moisture intrusion
- Image quality — out-of-focus, glare, bad night-mode, IR failures
- Storage retention — system only keeps a few days instead of weeks
- Cabling faults — damaged drops, rodents, failed terminations
Any system, any brand
We service commercial camera systems from Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Axis, Speco, Lorex, Amcrest, LTS, and other major manufacturers — plus unbranded OEM gear. If it uses IP cameras and a recorder, we can probably fix it.
Typical repair process
- Phone triage — we gather symptoms and confirm the system type
- Site visit — diagnostics with a meter, PoE tester, and laptop on the NVR
- Scope — plain-English explanation of what failed and what it takes to fix
- Repair — swap, reterminate, reconfigure, or replace — often same visit
- Documentation — labeled terminations and notes for future service
Should I repair or replace?
Sometimes the honest answer is replace. If the system is 8+ years old, on analog/DVR, or the recorder has failed twice, we'll lay out the math: repair now vs. upgrade vs. partial upgrade using existing cabling. Your call.
